YMMV (since Aug. '14, no one on this thread has reported successfully getting a better offer than the regular 50k (AF waived) offer linked above):
SM Chase before and/or after getting the card and they will often waive the $95 yearly fee for the first year.
SM Chase before and/or after getting the card and they will match to the offer to get 50,000 bonus Avios for spending $2,000, another 25,000 bonus Avios after you make $10,000 in purchases within the first year of account opening., and another 25,000 bonus Avios after you make an additional $10,000 in purchases also within the first year of account opening.
Total bonus Avios for $20K spend=100,000
Total Avios for base spending at 1.25 Avios per dollar spent=25K.
Total Avios=125K.

New or blank FFN?

You are asking a good question.
I signed up for a new ffn, but don't remember if I had inputted it or not.
I see now that it's linked up to my old ffn.
Strange thing is, I just had the same thing happen to me, Created new BA.. thought I put it into the app.. but now see that the new cc is linked to my old FF#.

I doubt both of us created a new BA account but accidentally put in the old one in the app, Looks more like somebody is changing it.

Either way, it hasn't stopped me from getting the bonus again.
Starting to look more like the Citi AA (regular), Restriction depends more on time than on having a new FF#

i got it friday after trying for a while. tons of SM's and calls..They were being extremely tough about it, telling me they werent allowed to waive it...o well :) dont give up.. tell them your friend just got it

It seems like the window to get switched to the 100k/no annual fee offer is closed or closing. I just tried SMing for my wife's accountand they said the offer is expired...

I'm going to keep trying, and report back.

it is. They are much stricter.
that being said there is no clear guidelines many people have been successful 18months-2 years, some less, either way make a new ba account before reapplying

Is this 18-24 months after closing prior account, or 18-24 months after opening prior account?

Hi. I just SM chase from two separate accounts, on the older account (over three months with ba card) they said that bc it's more then three months they can't match the 100k offer.
From my new account they said the offer is not in effect.
Any ideas?

"SM Chase after getting the card and they will often waive the $95 yearly fee for the first year. Results vary."

What can I write to get them to remove AF?

Thanks!
Should I wait until they charge me the 95$ or preemptively send them a message?
Or does it not make a difference?

You can do it before.
Less chance of success.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Less chance of success.
my brother sent an SM before and was told they would waive it after it posts,I sm'd after and was told it wasn't possible to waive....so before might b better ,just get it in writing.
