Mind sharing how you went about it? New BA account with different address? Instant approal? How long after getting the 1st bonus did you close and when did you apply for the 2nd?

Same address, I think I did it with new account but combined them afterwards. Don't recall if it was instant approval, don't think so. Closed immediately following first bonus and applied for 2nd card about 10 months later

Fyi - There's been targeted bonus offers out for current Ba card holders for 9k Avios with $9k spend by end of March 2015, so I called and asked to be matched or to get something better: nice CSR gives me bonus offer of 9k Avios with $1500 spend within 1/5/15-4/5-15. An easy 10,875 Avios!

For $1,500 it can be worth it, not worth it for a $9,000 spend.

Thanks will do waiting for the card to come in been close to 2 weeks but figure due to the holidays and all I should be getting it any day I'll call and report back  8)
