Hey,
I read the last few pages here about churning the card..
A friend told me Chase is stricter when it comes to this card..
I would like to close mine and reapply before April (DoC got me worried) Its been over 24 months since i got the 50k..
So i wanna reapply using my current FFN,

Any recent data points about closing and reopening recently?

If you have to call they may ask you why you're reapplying for the same card, it's possible that within 30 days they will just reopen the card...

Putting approvel on the side,
Any recent data points about getting the bonus again using the same FFN on this card?

If its been 24 months since you got the signup bonus you're entitled to a new bonus.

Right,
But I am asking for recent datapoints because this card might be harder to reopen..

somewhat of a newbie on this - but my annual fee is due this month. Don't really use the card anymore and not sure the use of paying the annual fee. Is it better to just cancel the card before paying the bill with annual fee or calling to transfer the credit to a different chase card. My bill is due in a few days, so need to make a decision soon. Thanks

You may as well transfer the CL if you're gonna close it.

Thanks. Do I need to apply for a new card in advance or just call and ask to transfer to an existing card.

It could be transferred to an existing card.

I am 99 percent sure of instant approval for whatever card i apply for now.
Since i just closed it, will the application go through just fine or can their be an issue because its been closed within 30 days?

Same thing with me. I was wondering if it would've been better to just wait it out...

Successfully opened this card after having earned the first part of the 100k bonus in Feb. 2014. Same FFN. Seems like it goes by that first bonus, not the following 25k, 25k.

Successfully received the bonus again?
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

Time will tell. Im thinking it will, as previous attempts to churn other chase cards (less than two years, new FFN/info) got rejections by their system for having received the bonus and no hard pull.
