Thank you for confirming my thought.

My wife had a chase BA card a few years back and she recently signed up for a new. The problem is, she changed her name, and her BA executive account is still under her maiden name. When you open the card Chase says that if you don't have an executive account, they will open a new one for you. Issue is, her email is already being used for her old account. She is accruing points, but we aren't sure where they are going.
Chase says that we have to contact BA, and BA says we have to contact Chase. BA says there is no account under her new name, just her maiden name.
Any ideas where these points are hiding?
Order a new card it should come with the number printed on it

What should I do with my credit line? I don't want to pay an AF. I'm well over 5/24

You can apply for a different co-branded card, like United Explorer...

I've had them match me once to an expired offer, over a year ago though.

Don't think you want to be asking Chase about changing your offer, as they might realize that your weren't even eligible for it to begin with..

If I understand correctly, you closed the card a month ago, and reapplied now, all for the wife?

Closing the card makes no difference, as long as iit's 24 months since he received the bonus.

It's been 24 months.
What do you mean it doesn't matter If it's closed?
Is it possible to get a second of the same open  BA card?

I meant that closure date should not effect bonus eligibility.

Chase recently added language that you won't be approved for a card that you currently have open, dunno if it's enforced though.

He meant, when exactly you closed the card makes no difference, as the 24 month clock to get the bonus again starts from when you received the bonus last.

So yes, you will receive the bonus, as it's been 24 months.

You can not have a ba cards open at the same time cmiiw.

The insurance is from Visa, not Chase. And only if your card says Visa Signature.
