I remember reading somewhere else that you could churn the card 2 yrs after you closed the card.

did 2bm SP and BA
SP approved instantly...BA declined what are some reasons I can say why i need the BA bec SP has no FOREX as well....BTW in the past month or so ive applied for few CC (starwood 30k, Citi AA, barclayarrival etc)

any help is appreciated

Tell them you fly BA a lot, and like that you get 2.5 avios per dollar spent.

I applied, got accepted immediately, and spent my $2K.  Now I get a postcard in the mail saying that I dont get the bonus since I have had a card within 2 years and its for new card members only.  Anything I can do?  Why would they approve me if I didnt qualify for the offer?
