Jkhein - Initial idea was, to get a landline # which works voip, and have it forwarded to mobile.

Anyone know a better way (cheaper then 10 cents per minute) to transfer my incoming US Cell phone to my isreali cell number. So I can continue to get my US calls while i travel in Israel.

Best and Cheapst way I know of, 2.8 cents a minute. No monthly fee, no setup fee.

Could you take me through the steps? I see they give a free NY number for incoming, so I sign up for that, then how do you add $ and do the forwarding? Its not so clear since they have a lot of plans.

Okay I got it to work, seems to be pretty nice and cheap to give to people when you are in Israel or wherever.

This thread is not really the place for its OT, I'll start a thread and put it there

Edit - On second thought, I'll just put it here, someone can please put it where it belongs

Go to Callcentric.com and signup for for a free NY state phone number http://www.callcentric.com/did/
once you get your number. signup here for pay per call and add at least $5 http://www.callcentric.com/rate/plans/
then go the 'call treatments' page and setup to forward all calls to your israeli number.
There are tabs for autorecharge etc.
