Go to Callcentric.com and signup for for a free NY state phone number http://www.callcentric.com/did
once you get your number. signup here for pay per call and add at least $5 http://www.callcentric.com/rate/plans/
then go the 'call treatments' page and setup to forward all calls to your israeli number.
There are tabs for autorecharge etc.

Used the Callcentric on my trip, worked great, I was wondering if the funds expire and found this

Callcentric does not expire or remove accounts that have a positive balance.

I'm not sure if that means the number allocated will remain even if I dont use it.
