whats your thoughts on this new computer that's the size of a credit card, called Raspberry Pi?  http://www.raspberrypi.org/
only costs $35!!!

Things got much better with the pi 4, GB connection, HDMI , better processor, USB type c, 4 GB ram etc,

Cool hack. This solution relies on an IoT relay from DLI. DLI makes some great hardware for specific use cases where other options from brand named vendors would cost orders of magnitude more for a similar solution. Finicky, but gets the job done.

Haven't checked out DLI, but the above solution is way overkill, there is no need for any RaspberryPi at all.
