Hyatt suites at 33k? Aruba for a week anyone?
I'm pretty torn between UA and HGP.
UA may be worth more, but HGP has some pretty great uses.

Like I said, it's a tough decision.

Dan -

What would you do with 200,000 UR points? I have 300g sitting now with UA and nothing in Hyatt..

Also, what are some good uses with hyatt points?

Thanks!

I've got over 500K now and I don't know where to put them, so they're still with Chase for now.

Hotel stays. Used over 200k for a few nights at the park hyatt paris, which came to 50% of the lowest price.

WHy not use the UR points to buy a flight on UA and get EQMs with it? Shouldn't that make sense?

Well considering they give u 0.1-0.125 per point, and a broker will give u 1.5, thats pathetic. Or
if you're a fool.

And 1.5 is very much on the low side.

UA might be worth more to sell, but to buy HGP cost more.
if your selling it you might as well sell it as UR now.

I prefer a transfer to UA because there's a huge market of brokers for their currency (travel agents) unlike other affiliated loyalty program.
