Called local branch in NY to see if the direct deposits need to be made today as well. They did not want to give me the promo unless I showed the postcard. It's a targeted promo.

i tried this for the $200 one once - didnt work, they searched the database by my name, adress... i said ok maybe it came to someone else at my house then.
on the phone same thing
doesnt mean it wont work for you though like hocker said

I printed out the website offer and they opened the account for me no problem, although from reading other forums it looks like this deal is dead as of 12/31
