She was a real whatever, I didn't think it would help. The line was also forever and it was an early morning flight so a combination of all that... Anyways is there anything to do about it now?

You can contact them and complain here: http://www.united.com/web/en-US/content/Contact/customer/default.aspx

They'll probably tell you that you should of come to the airport earlier. A united explorer card would have let you cut the line and gotten you a free bag.

I have the united card and I got the free bag the problem was overweight.

Stick to the facts and don't dwell too much on your feelings.
Say that you were prepared to repack and throw out the extra one pound, but the rep was being the opposite of helpful and prevented you from doing so.
If you have done a lot of flying with United, mention that as well, in a matter-of-fact way.

Does it make sense I only received miles for my flight and not my wife's flight, even though they were both booked under same awards number?

Trying to book a flight with awards Business NYC - TLV. I can only find Turkish air. I know that it is safe. I would still prefer another airline. Anyone else find another airline? I am looking for end of Jan or Feb.
