Really? ASAP! You charge commission for that? ;) is there a way to combine the miles to my account after I do that?

No way to combine accounts that aren't in the same name. You CAN transfer miles but it costs a pretty penny and is hardly ever worth doing.

I put in a complaint to customer care over 2 weeks ago and still haven't heard back anything yet. Any ideas?

IME sometimes it takes that long.  I've had luck talking to customer care on the phone before and getting compensation though it's hard to get through sometimes.
