Name Change

I have an AA ticket to Israel LAX-ORD-CDG-TLV. My passport is under my new married name and my ticket is under my maiden name. My drivers license is still on my maiden name. So I should be OK to ORD just the problem is to CDG and the ELAL segment from CDG-TLV has me worried. I will bring my Old Passport and New Passport and my DL. Any suggestions?

No experience, but I would suggest bring ur marriage cert as well

Did they just wished me good luck and said they don't know if I will be OK. I called twice! They said it is impossible for them to change the name!

Don't think they'll let you check in just to ORD with your DL -  it's an international ticket, so they are checking you in to your final destination - they will definitely need to see your passport.

You should ask to speak to a manager
I had this happen to me and I called a few times until I got through to a manager and got the name changed

When my sister flies I add both names for her.  Make it a hyphenated name.  She never had a problem.  Her israeli passport has one name, her American the other.  You can see if they'll let you add a name. They SHOULD.

I booked a ticket for someone and wrote his last name "...en" instead of "...in". Is that a problem?

From my experience, bring extra ID. I was stopped in Prague by the gate because my name was spelled differently. I had a press card on me that they used for extra check. They also searched my stuff but did not steal anything afaik  :o and let me go on.
