BTW, IME, in addition to showing all partner availability, Quantas often suggests certain routes that even live agents don't come up with automatically. Not to mention having a whole 30 days where you can just roll the mouse over the date and see the trip duration and amount of stopovers before having to click on anything..
I am happy about this new addition to AA.com but will still be using Quantas in many cases.

its a big pain to call up every time i'm looking for availibility on lan and it takes forever because they have to manually put in every time the date time and location and they cant see availibility by month.
not sure about iberia so fast, american isnt such partner with iberia as it is with LAN and BA

Lan is a major pain IME, search on Quantas.

i was never on their award part of the site but IIRC  they have many diff. saver prices for the same dates and destinatins depending on the stopover etc... While on AA it would cost the same amount of miles

Searching on Quantas will simplify all of that for you.
Not to mention that Lan.com is in full-force competition with BA.com about who can have more glitches...
