Fair enough, but there are people who wouldn't want to spend the mileage premium for UA F, and the question  becomes much tougher if you're going to fly the new LH J instead.

Only LH/LX F can use LH/LX F lounges and terminal. Do everything you can to change to LH F, UA F is basically like business there.

i took a glance the other day back at J and while boarding the plane and it didnt look that amazing. the chairs are facing each other kinda. its a bit annoying for the window person. - when i flew in UA J from ORD-LHR on lie flat that seemed much nicer

In FRA? Use the LH Business lounge with your UA Club Card. (The Club Card, not the Club CC)
