UA told me that EWR-FRA is a 777 with only 2 cabins. Is that true? And would flying in J then get me access to FCT?

There is LH F on that route. It may not be available for miles, but it's there.

Do you get access to FCT if you're arriving EWR-FRA LH F and departing FRA-MUC (or FRA-TLV) LH J (as the departing flight only has 2 classes)?

Correct, Mercedes some times. The cool part is driving up to the plane, can be a horse and buggy as far as I'm concerned.
