This was discussed already. Either if you are a HON member OR pay a ~$800 fee OR give them a really good reason why you should be sitting in First, they will let you sit in F.

But still will make you ineligible for the FCT.

When I was flying J award and asked for first, they gave me the 299 CHF upgrade option.
I'm wondering what would happen if you booked an F ticket X-Zurich or Zurich-X, would they give you the F seat for free?
What about doing ZRH-FRA-X leaving FRA on a non Lh/Lx flight, would you get FCT access?

I don't think so with that itin.

Though you can try asking as you are on an F ticket, but only two class for the flight into FRA.

Grr... Booked so fast, I was convinced my ex-FRA flight was on LH metal.

Like i mentioned, i heard you can get into FCT with an F boarding pass from LH, but won't get the car. See if they would allow it for you.

I do wish you luck. Who knows, you may be able to get them to switch you onto an LH flight.

There is a direct FRA-LAX flight on LH I can try for, but it disappeared when I tried booking it this morning. Maybe after some people start to cancel . . .

Correct. Though i have heard that arriving on LH metal in F can get you access.
