Just spoke with LH reservations. They confirmed a KSML at the FCT for both outbound and return. The offered me a choice of breakfast, lunch or dinner meals. They also asked what time I wanted to be served.

I asked for some kosher wine to be served on-board with dinner. They said they will try and get some for me.

Let's see of they can be at least bat .500 and get one of them right.

To get there I just stay left until I see it?

Arriving in F and continuing in J is enough. 1:40 is very short, you have to know if its worth it....

Just changed my flights so I can spend some time in the FCT. I hope I don't regret it, I now have an 8:45 layover.

Perhaps I will run in to FRA for a bite at Sohars, or is it the same food being offered at the FCT?

Side note I got UA to waive the change and close in fees.

I did 17 hours without leaving FRA. Would do it again without thinking twice, the private cubicles are excellent for working.

Which is why I said that 9 hours is likely too long in the FCT.

Il daven shachris, then have some breakfast. Perhaps take a bath then retire to a sleeping room. Catch a short nap or perhaps even a few hours of sleep.  Get some work done while I eat my kosher lunch. Before I know it my flight will be called.

It only took 4 minuets to find. I exited the terminal took  a left and saw it on the left 3 minuets later. The first fellow I asked knew exactly where it was.

Did you end up arriving in F and leaving in J?  No problem getting into FCT?

You can arrive in LH F and leave in LX Y, and still get in.

I had no problem when arriving in F and departing in J. I also had no problem accessing the first calls lounge in Munich both arriving and departing in J when I had a same day flight in F.
