I'm trying to summarize success stories mentioned in this thread.
From @TC610
It never hurts to ask - retention is a big YMMV.  If you don't like the offer given to you when you call for retention, ask for a better one.  Scan through the thread (use the search bar - reading through 130+ pages of posts can be time consuming) to see what others have been offered. Please post what you've got if its better then whats in the WIKI

PRG - nothing, nada, zilch, gornischt!  CSR said I got the $50 + $50 statement credit last year and the $100 Airline fee credit this year.  She had nothing for me other than downgrade to Green.  Does it pay to HUCA or is it in the system?

How do you calculate 13 months?  The AF posted on May 11 so the 30 days is up on June 10.

I guess the retention offer was, like, 13 months ago.  The actual account credits came later.

Finally got a retention offer on my Amex Biz Plat account. It was 13 "please pay by" dates since the last retention offer. More than 13 months. Was told by a rep to call right after the date, and viola, there was an offer. 5k MR immediately, plus an additional 15k after spending $10k within 90 days.
+1 just got this
