I’ve stayed at Times Square Edition a couple times for work. Beds comfortable, sheets crisp. Work area in standard room terrible. But I do like the le labo products. I personally like the St Regis location at Central Park and New York Edition at the NoMad neighbourhood over Times Square chaos.

felt really classy, loved the steps (we were there for shabbos) and the area and the light jazz background music and a nice bar to spend your credit if u use amex plat fine hotels credit. these days if u are looking for a hotel in the city with prices around $1k for nice places, its very likely the hyatt point option will be a good value

yeah i've booked for others who have stayed there (used to be an andaz iirc) and they liked it. its literally next door to Wall Street Grill, i think the building is owned by jews and i believe they have a chabad with minyanim there on shabbos and a kiddush. note there is a lot of construction around that area currently so can be noisy during daytime. not too far from the south street seaport and walking around there (or walking to battery park/west side) is nice.

yeah it looks nice and location is great but surprisingly to me the reviews seem to be very sub-par compared to other similar category hotels in the area etc...

I had the same dilemma (expiring cert) last week, and I regretfully chose the NY EDITION, not that there was anything particularly wrong, it just is not in the same league as the St Regis (my last expiring cert)

Room was smallish, service was good but not exceptional...

Which nice NYC hotel is best situated for walking to the best restaurants 2-3 times a day? Looking at doing a 2-day trip with DW.

Looking to get away for 1 night in Manhattan.

What would be my best option in the $350 or using points in that range.
