Combining AAdvantage accounts

I just requested to merge my accounts and saw in the email,

"Any duplicate mileage credit will not be transferred. This means, for
example, if the same flight on the same day was credited in both
accounts, it will only appear one time in the account you retain."

Some points were for the same activity on both accounts for example for signing up for their emails etc.
Will those be merged?

Yup just lost 2k (signing up for emails) on a merge.

Up to 72hr, but IME it was overnight (I guess they just need the computers to update).

It was a total of 5k that were from the different promos. So i lost 5 not 2k

You combined AA and they didnt combine any duplicate miles?
Since its still not done as I cant log in , I wonder if I can call them tomorrow to undo it..
