and would passing an F/R after verifying income (but having CL lowered) lower the chances of having another one? I saw a report of s/o having 2, but he passed the first through bank stmts.

i applied and received the 50k AMEX Business card offer and am new at this and have some questions I was hoping someone can help me with: Can you help me understand (1) how a business card will affect my personal credit; (2) what the F/R risk you are talking about is? and (3) will it hurt me to cancel it. Thanks very much.

I applied for the card 3 weeks ago, it wasnt an instant approval ... I got approved like 4 days later, then my accounts got suspended - FR till I "verified" income. I send in the 4506-T for them to request my 2010 tax return, and based on that info I passed, but lower CL

If its within 30 Days,  a 2nd app for the same card as the first would automatically get canceled by the system

Firstly there is a long thread all about Amex F/R - http://forums.dansdeals.com/index.php?topic=8.0
#1 With Amex if they F/R you (financial review) all your accounts will get suspended until you pass it. If not your accounts will get shut down.
#2 F/R risk of getting shut down
#3 if you have verifyable income deff dont cancel, and i dont know if canceling the app all together will help

i assume you mean all AMEX accounts will get suspended and / or shut down, not other cards.
And i dont mean cancel the app as i was already approved.  I mean i am doing this for the miles but am not sure i want to spend $175 a year on the card. will it hurt my personal credit score to shut down the business account?

Even if you have income, but the business is fictitious we've had DDF'ers lose their AMEX portfolio like that.

That is actually what happened to me a few years ago ... And yea, it made it difficult to get back on.

From reports that I've seen the Gold business card is a bigger flag than Platinum Business.
No idea why.

they just sent me a email that they are expediting my card and i should get it within 2-3 days
