This is the only mention of Key West in the forums. I am heading down there on Mother's Day to the Hyatt Winward Point using a Hyatt Elite certificate at $249 per night for a 2 Bdrm condo!  Price for one night is listed at $502 + tax, resort fees

I'll try to post about my trip....

Sounds fun. I've wanted to go to Key West many times and have still not made it down there. Have a great time! Enjoy your condo and take pics!

Do you remember the grocery name? Was it Publix? How about the one kosher restaurant?

the kosher restaurant doesnt look like much. Decent if you want a hot meal. supposedly on Duval street(the main street there) more towards the water... there is some sort of Israely makolet... There is also Publix and Winn Dixie, where you can get alot of kosher food.. not sure about meat though...You can also ways the lady in the restaurant.. or most store owners, as most are Israely.
And if your on Duval past 11:30 let us know how it is..When we were there, we ust went back to the hotel to chill then.. WE stayed at the Sheraton Suites, there was a hotel bus that took us to the strip and gave us alot of coupon to buy on get on free drinks in most bars there.. but the last bus was at 11 so we left then. Although the cab prob would not have been so expensive. The main street was kind of "dragging" on if you know what I mean.. Or maybe you will figure it out there..

Anyways have fun, water sports are cheaper then in Miami

I was ther in Early March.Stayed at Sheraton Suites. Did a dolphin swim at Dolphin Cove. It was $185 and deff. worth it to do it once. Also did parasailing right across the street from the sheraton. Its the cheapest place there and they were very nice. Butterfly conservatory was big waste of money, even though I enjoy these things.

Ever since I was a kid this was on my list of places to visit.  I haven't gotten there just yet... but I am hoping to in the coming year.

my wife and went on a cruise that ported at key west and we had a really nice time. theres a shul a restaurant and amazing jet skiing. i paid 120$ and we were out for like 2 and half hour and circled the whole key west which is about 8 miles. you can walk any where and its a real touristy town. lots of gift shop and small shops catered to drawn in tourist. i dont remember which hotel it was but i think it was the hilton that right next to a prison! great vacation spot would go back any day.

hi i am thinking of going to key west in beginning of february. i see there is not much info over here. doing my research it seems like those are the hotels to consider, hyatt west key, hawks cay resort, casa marina, or the pier house. i might use points for the hyatt but am willing to pay cash. also is a car necessary?

any tips recommendations for attractions are much appreciated

Did a day trip to Key West last February. The drive through the Keys is pretty spectacular.
