Has anyone stayed in Key West for Shabbos?
is midweek a better option?
We're driving down so flexible with dates. It seems like hotels are a fortune for something half decent. are timeshares tours worth it to get extra bang for your buck

I went to Dry Tortugas this past summer and had a wonderful time. We went by boat (https://www.drytortugas.com/). It's not cheap, but we had a great time at the fort and managed to find an empty place to swim.

Any recent reviews on Casa Marina? Online reviews are very mixed. Also is street parking free?

we went before they redid it (and it was still a waldorf) and made sure to get a great room with a semi-private big deck/lounge chairs facing the ocean which was great. note its far from Chabad.

Casa Marina:

Pays to upgrade? Or wait until arrival and hope for complimentary upgrade?

personally for me it was an escape with the mrs for 3 days and we stayed over shabbos so the terrace was key for a beautiful relaxing afternoon reading in the sun on our lounge chairs with some privacy. taking a chance is taking a chance...

Few DP:
Parking is very limited in the historic district (old town) I stayed at the Casa Marina wheres it's $50 per night parking but just off the street is the end of the historic district so you can park there .

There is also a free bus route that goes around town and it's fee
