Not too much info in the thread, but if anyone can help... Looking for recommendations for a nice points hotel. My research has led to 0 particularly attractive resorts other than maybe the 2 Waldorf properties (?) and Playa Largo Resort & Spa (Marriott), which is in Key Largo. I also see Chabad is not very close to Mam's, which isn't too close to many hotels, so what do people do? Keep a car for driving around?

Given the path of hurricane Irma, you might want to wait until next week to do your research....

Hyatt was very nice. Looked into Waldorf, but it didn't sound like they were up to par quality wise for what you're paying.

The Doubletree or the Hilton Garden Inn? Doesn't seem to be a beach by the Doubletree :-\

Hyatt Centric, Place or one of the 3 Residence Clubs?

Thanks guys. Have a feeling DW will turn this down in favor of a more resort-type of place, but appreciate the input.

A colleague of mine was there 2 weeks ago and said they have pretty much cleaned everything and its fully operational. The drive into the keys on Route 1 still had tons of debris on the shoulder of the road.
