I signed up for it got 15,000 miles for doing so. I donated $5 as well which gave me another 5,000 leaving me with 20,000 miles. 20,000 miles = 4 off peak domestic flights. Thats worth $5 to me:)
You mean 4 off-peak RT tickets,right?
Don't forget that all of your Spirit miles expire if you don't earn at least 2,000 miles every 6 months. And good luck finding 5,000 mile dates that work for you...
The 2000 miles every 6 months only applies so long as you dont use the credit card at least once a month. I can take it with me when i go to sams club and pump $0.02 on that card too They are also having a promotion right now that you can get 1000 miles for every $100 you spend on the card. Thats a free (off peak, domestic RT ticket) for spending $500 on the card. There is a maximum of 30,000 miles that can be earned from this promotion (6 RT tickets). I got it in an email and this is the browser version of the email: http://p.p0.com/YesConnect/HtmlMessagePreview?a=wiVez-sW3RqvZByNqiAfx5Qo
Have you actually ever inquired about availability? If so, what were you results?
Yes! its so minimal and its at times when their flight cost about $40 for the same free flight. also, u have to call them up to book it. When i tried calling I was on the phone for 30 minutes with no answer so I hung up. Plus you have to book it 180 days in advance to avoid the fee. That is 6 months!!!
I have a friend that booked bonus tickets on Delta within 21 days of travel, and I believe he also had to pay $75 just like Spirit. And between 21 days to 180 days it's only $15
Again if Spirit never has tickets for 5,000 miles the point is moot.I have to hear of anyone actually flying on a 5K ticket.
I know that the airline....., but if you got the 5000 for the Haiti relief, you might as well get another 5000 for free. (I guess it's for damage control.) You can even get a account now, and get the points. http://marketing.spiritair.com/5kmiles/
