I did not - I bought it 1st week of Jan 2012 . Online they gave me the option  of putting it up for sale on Amazon which I did . I rather take a loss of a few dollars selling it on ebay then spend an hour on the phone with amazon . Have you had success in the past with Amazon extending their return window??

here you go you can just chat online with them, quick and painless.

I recently chatted with them to find out about an items warranty and they told me that I should just send it back for a full refund even though it was broken and past return date. They even sent me a prepaid shipping label.
