Do you have a Smartphone on a sprint line?
« on: May 02, 2012, 05:31:24 PM »
I'm looking for someone tht has a sprint line, NOT an old grandfathered line (sero/free and clear) with smartphone data service?

That would either like do a favor or for $$

I have a sprint iphone 4s and would like to have it unlocked

here is a pretty simple step by step tht can get it unlocked

How to Unlock a Sprint iPhone 4S

Meet the following requirements (the person doing the unlocking):

* Must be a current Sprint customer
* Must be in good standing for 90 days
* Must not have a spending limit
* Of course, the ESN must be clean and inactive (not on anyone's line)

1. Put the phone on your account

2. Call Sprint's International Department: 1-888-226-7212

3. Tell them you're traveling and want to use a local SIM card from where you're going, and you need the SIM card slot unlocked.

4. They will note your account, you won't get confirmation.

5. After this you can put your original phone back on (if you're doing this for someone else).

6. In any time from a few hours up to 24-hours, Apple will whitelist the ESN. You need to connect the phone to Wifi, and put in a non-US SIM card (ie Rogers/O2/etc).

The phone is now unlocked [for non-US SIM cards].

You MUST be connected to Wifi the first time because the phone has to check with Apple that it is unlocked. Ignore any warnings from Sprint reps about putting your original phone back on the line (they say doing it will cancel the unlock, to deter you from doing it from other people).

if you would be willing to help me out please pm
thank you very much

Cute.
This is how I unlocked dozens of phones back in my Yeshiva/T-mobile days, difference is that I didn't need to put the phone on the account, just call and say I got a new phone.

There wasn't a religion called ''apple'' during your yeshiva days either  ;)

Well no other company makes it  as complicated to unlock their phones as apple does!!
So back in the day they didn't give you the run-around tht you get now!!
