Right...so I guess you only loose in hotels where they charge you in foreign currency and then need to switch it over to dollars to apply the certificates.

Trying to plan a trip here for end of July 2016 - got in on EY-F MLE-AUH-JFK (pre-deval thankfully) for return.  Am wondering what weather is like during that time of season.  Am reading it may be monsoon season... also political situation given Arab country (first time visiting Arab country).  Curious to hear about MP upcoming visit - is he already there?

It has seemingly zero to offer if weather isn't good, so if there's a chance of it not working out and your nervous then I can imagine its smarter to go a different time

Are you using points to stay @ the conrad? If so how many points per night? I know HH MLE is super expensive using points.

75K HH is not a bad deal. Sure it ain't 37.5K (what it used to be), but then again, I'm not xferring MR...

No way I'd go to MLE and do PH.

Is that specific to MLE or is that your overall feeling towards any international location that offers a Conrad (in that it trumps a PH)?
