Right now it was 32,500 points, no c+p options which seems to be an amazing value as the room is 2200+ a night. There is a 645/person round trip fee to get to the hotel.

I doubt these low points rates will stay being that a night at the W Maldives is like 90K/night. My guess is this might just be the rates while its newly opened and they will adjust at some point to be more in line with the w.

BeastieB just posted on another thread that he just booked the new St. Regis Maldives directly into a $2200 a night OWB, w/pool for 35k a night.  If you've been considering going, book now and you can always cancel if you need to!

Wow! Phenomenal value. That seaplane fee though always annoys me.

Imagine though, I'm spending 380k HHonors AND paying for an upgrade at the Conrad next month.  This is such a better deal 😭😭

Eh 380K HH is easy to get. 120k SPG is way harder.

Just booked for Feb too St Regis, I wonder if its worth splitting between the OWB and Beach \Garden Villa's? Many who have been to MLE  both Conrad and PH claim the OWB's is just a first time impression and the Garden\Beach villas are more enjoyable?.

Remember this is 4 nights get the 5th night free.

Totally true, that's why I've got so many HHonors points but I'm gonna spend so much for the upgrade I want at the Conrad and this is booking directly into an OWB with a large pool, if I bought the SPG points it would still be a better deal.  Only because everything's already arranged for our parents to babysit, it's not worth rebooking.

I haven't been yet but I suspect that is hindsight justification for not paying for the upgrade the whole time (I'm also only upgrading some days)! 😂😂  There must be a reason people always like to spend the last days in the OWB and I'm assuming because it's better!

 You might want to choose from bad OWB  to better Garden\Beach Villa's? that  is what I have in mind for the St Regis, I m currently booked for OWB for all 5 nights.

After a long journey and a 6 hr layover in Dubai which we used to our advantage to check out the futuristic City finally here at the Hilton Conrad Rangali Islands. Pom meals arrived still frozen solid. I can breath now. I have my food. So I originally confirmed for 2 nights upgrade to Standard Water Villa for $150 plus taxes and 2 nights to Superior Water Villa for $280 plus taxes. And they gave me a Deluxe Water Villa which is even a step higher for all 4 nights. So clutch! Hopefully I'll find the time to write a TR when this trip comes to a close in two weeks. Now back to paradise.....

After looking at the property quickly, it doesn't seem as appealing to me. While it's a phenomenal value for SPG points the accommodations seem to have little to no privacy. They seem to be very cramped together. Couple that with the likely exorbitant prices for anything other than breathing.
