Anyone have the night of 3/26 booked at the SR MLE?

You mean of your 75 bookings for almost a year of iterations of stays there you missed the one day you need for flights?  :P

Can you pinpoint exactly what it is about the OWB that pulls you so?

And it's not just the fact that it's on the beach, and has gorgeous snorkeling. The whole island is just absolutely breathtaking, nothing remotely close to anything I have ever seen! (No Hawaii dosent even come close!)
+100. I didn't get to try an OWB but I personally enjoyed the private pool more than I would have enjoyed being able to jump off my deck and go snorkeling. Like you said, not a big deal to walk over to the jetty.

To be fair, PH is one of the only resorts that dosent have pools in their OWB's.

True. But still loved staying there because the island is beautiful and staff was incredible.

I think it's silly that EK's evening flight out of MLE is too late to catch the middle-of-the-night flight DXB-JFK.

I also updated the wiki to show AS's new costs for J/F on EK, the fact that JFK-ICN-MLE actually stops in CMB as well, and the airport transfer fee at PH. If anyone knows the Conrad fee, feel free to add it.

Roughly the same as PH IIRC.

Contrary to what many NYers believe, not everyone leaving MLE is connecting to NY ::) People live in other parts of the world too you know.

They could easily leave 2 hours earlier and make the flight. :P And I would imagine their DXB-JFK route is one of the most popular ones.

Might be that DXB-JFK is one of the more popular ones, but that doesn't mean that a lot of people on it are coming from MLE...

Anyone stayed, heard of, one and only resort?

Is it anything nicer than the Hyatt and other places mentioned here?

I updated the Wiki with the Conrad Seaplane price, UA mileage price from TLV and also that UA allows TLV on US-MLE tickets.  I didn't change the wiki because it might be some wierd fluke but BA economy from Denver is only 32.5k miles

It's supposed to be nice but you are willing to pay for your stay others have discussed great and probably cheaper places for a revenue stay.

CMIIW, but you wouldn't be able to go to TLV for more than 24 hours, as UA only allows one stop over per RT.

You make it a RT to the Maldives with TLV as your one Stopover, for the exact same miles as a RT to TLV.

I don't know about the One and Only in Maldives but a friend goes to One and Only Los Cabos and he truly believes it's the One and Only (even though theres more than one). Says it's the best resort and service hes ever seen.
