its easy to book the hotel. Not so easy to get there. So I doubt the place will be packed with Jews.

Have a trip booked to Maldives in the summer for five night. I booked the Hyatt Handahaa and the Hilton Rangali. I don't have status with Hyatt but I'm diamond with Hilton. Anyone can tell me Which is the better resort?

I was never at either property but from folowing this thread the past 6 months and reading several maldives TRs that is the sense I got.

I doubt any one person has been to both and can answer your question so read this thread and read the TRs and you will get a sense.

Which DDFer is going to the SR MLE first?
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Jan 19th, anybody going earlier?

I want to work out something with kosher food if anybody is going before or same time as me.

Haven't been to the Hyatt but All the overwater bungalows have pools at the Conrad, its much shorter transfer time from Male and the chef will bend over backwards to prepare you free kosher breakfast and other food.

They can, food coming from Chabad in Sri Lanka but with a huge delivery fee.  We had Koshwhere deliver 10 frozen meals to our hotel in Singapore and then brought those with us.  If you're transferring there or Hong Kong that could be an option for you.

Hey,

Im going to MLE Jan 9th-12th. Right no im booked at the St Regis for 90k A night:(. I know its crazy. So if anyone has a reservation for  30k those days please let me know if you are interested on letting me have it i am willing to pay a fair price. Or if your are still able to get a booking at the conrad i will be will to trade...

Also i am stopping off in Israel for a week before. i contacted the SR and they said they do not have a vendor that imports kosher food for them at this time so if anyone knows of a good place in israel that prapares decent kosher food please let me know.

Thank you

Try emailing them and see if they get shipments from Australia (like chuchem did - read TR) and coordinate with the shipping company and kosher grocery in Australia without SR involvement.

I may end up doing that but if there is a decent place that can do it in israel id rather do that as it would probably be easier and cheaper...

Probably best to bring frozen meals from the US. I've looked around a little in isreal and haven't found any frozen meal places
