There hundreds of great resorts. Are you paying cash or points?
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

hundreds?

points, not sure yet!

cash, will depend on bang for your buck.

Wiki has no info on resorts DDFs have been to and their experiences and kosher accommodations. Its scattered all over the thread.
Ill try while reading through to gather info to add to the wiki.

AKJ said a Feb trip is doable if im flex. I'm looking for the starting points.

I came up with these 3 properties widely discussed, did I miss any?
Conrad
PH
St Regis

I would skip the Ph it seems to be old and worn. If you can get a great deal to the SR then go for it. Otherwise its tough to beat the conrad for value and experience. They give a top notch experience for a very good price when using points (especially on a 5 night stay)

I'd agree. Points-wise, I'd say SR, Conrad, W, PH.

But if you can't get SR, look into the Constance, which is where we stayed the first time and very nice.

Unfortunately DDF isnít a good resource for cash resorts. I really wish there was a larger mix here but you will usually have to go to flyertalk, TripAdvisor and blogs for actual user experiences.

I think we have lots of guys that spend cash, but there is an embarrassment to admit and discuss it.

nope but I booked a cousin there last year and he didn't like it at all. And he tried both the pool villa and the owb
Either way it is a distant 3rd to Conrad and SR according to all reports

Maybe that and also people that are spending are buying free night certs and points. When you can buy a Hilton night for $250 and can now book straight into an OWV at the Conrad, that seems hard to beat.

Pomegranate/ your local market that sells packaged food or Shabbat meals... or make, pack, and freeze your own meals for your trip. I did a mixture of both.
