did you post a TR? I would be interested in seeing it. If not can you answer a few questions like what you did for food and what they charged to heat it up?
Feel free to ask any question about the str. I went October of 2019.

Was $0 at the SR when I went. Now I'd just bring a toaster oven.
Lots of free water activities. And some paid ones.

I brought frozen meals that were stored and heated up. They told me they were planning on adding a heating up fee in the future.
I also brought a burner, pot and frying pan and a pannini maker.
I only used the burner for chulent on shabbos.

For activities the only paid one  I did was scuba diving which is amazing although some areas are washed out.

Wrong resort

Honestly I think coming to a maldives villa w a toaster microwave or blech is asking for trouble (unless they explicitly permit it)

I definitely hear that, but it actually was easier to be on my own schedule and not have to arrange it a few hours in advance anytime I wanted a meal.

I understand that it's easier.

But it's safer not to. If a hotel doesn't want you to be doing something (especially if it is for safety reasons), you shouldn't do it, even if it's less convenient. You don't want an article written about how you caused an OVW villa to burn down, with the closest firefighters 50 miles away.

I've written on DDMS about W vs SR.
PH is not in the same league.
Don't forget the WA.

That's true although we (when I see we I am referring to myself and some ddfers) are know to bend the rules.

It's definitely str and it appears W.
I also went to the conrad 2016 and it is really nice and what I would say the best value especially since you can book right into an owb for the base rate.

That's true but for some reason the vibe I got so far of the WA - rooms are nice, but you can do better for a Maldives trip....
