the overwater villa wt pool is just 40,000
Or 30k/35k.

What is the best way to book business class there? AA miles for Qatar? I didn't see any availability for business for my dates.

Are you're sure that one is available for 30k/40k?
I only see the one without pool available at these rates

I think you're mistaken in the room type, unless I'm missing something

would anyone advise the w or st regis? and why

St. Regis is newer and nicer. though much more expensive (sea plane and just overall everything is more expensie)
W hotel is close to airport, so can take Yacht/ferry. menaing it's cheaper, no waiting for sea plane scheduled departure times etc. But older resort.

If you have the $, St. Regis is the way to go.

W has a yacht?
Was a seaplane when I sent.
W's reef was also better.

If you do a quick search on FT you will find several people who have been to both and argue that W was a better experience, given younger vibe, better reef etc.

Everyone has different priorities.

Seaplane and Boat both options. Friends of mine (just called to confirm) took Seaplane on arrival and Boat on Departure.

Also, could be the boat option is only available when flying is not an option. After 3:30pm and before 6am.

100% All about the Vibe you are looking for. Both are excellent options. And being that you're only staying at one property - you won't have anything to compare against.
