how mamy days is the minimum worth the trip? can it be done with a sunday evening flight and back thursday night/friday morning?

A sunday evening flight wont get in until Tuesday morning so thurday evening means 2 nights and only one full real day.

Depends where you are going from?
I went this past week from Israel. Lefts motzie shabbos 12:35 am got to resort Sunday 4:30ish pm
And flew out thurs 4:30 pm landing in TLV 11:30 pm. For me that was worth it.

Yes Bh. That’s what I wanted since I had the points and have diamond status.  Booked SR originally.
Must have been a last minute cancellation.  Occupancy was between 95 and 100% during our stay

I think Sri Lanka may be the closest option, don't know their Covid rules or situation. I believe Thailand is only open to vaccinated tourists, and I certainly wouldn't go anywhere near India if you're not vaccinated.

The Maldives also has a ton of rules if your coming from other places so make sure to check it up
