That's what I'm thinking. I currently have EY F flights and booked the Conrad. Was debating if worthwhile to change dates to book a better hotel.

How did you find availability on EY? Booked as 2 separate legs?

Booked it many months ago when there was wide open availability.

Have reservations in November to maldives - Conrad RI. 10 nights on points. Sweet.   Many have posted that they had no issues with bringing Kosher food to  the resort.   However when I asked them about storing and warming up our frozen meals  I got the following reply:

"Please allow me to assist further regarding the Kosher meal arrangements
With this current pandemic situation, we regret to inform that brining in food from outside which is not handled by the company's health and safety standards will not be recommendable
Our Culinary team can do alike Kosher meal preparations as we regularly have Kosher guests in our resort and we dedicate a Chef that deals with the guests directly. However, we would like to specify that we do not have a kitchen dedicated only for kosher meal preparations.
As currently practiced, we can offer fresh fish, kosher meat items, and vegetables prepared using our Culinary Cooking Utensil Set – dedicated only to Kosher meal preparations, and with the option of watching the Chef while preparing the food. Should you require us to use brand new cooking utensils, we will be happy to source it out, however, it will chargeable.
Pre-cooked Kosher meals and other Kosher certified food items can be soured out but will require a pretty much advance order from our supplier and following the delivery lead time. Please let us know specific items you wish to have during their stay and we will assist to arrange accordingly."

Is This Something New ????  Has anyone else had this issue there ?  Any advice on what to do ?
Did you get an answer to this?

Has anyone stayed at the Conrad recently? Would like to know experiences before I reach out to the hotel.

I just came back from a trip here. They were very accommodating towards storing any food I needed. The head chef was there to introduce himself when we arrived, and was very welcoming as well. In the end we were able to fit everything into the mini bar fridge and didn't need them to store anything for us.

Will be staying in the Maldives for a week next year - we're hoping to not eat out too much and will bring food in the luggage. Any recommendations on what to bring, I.E Canned foods that won't have any issues while traveling?

Anyone who is Platinum Elite ever stay at the W Maldives?  They say they can accommodate kosher food and sent me a price list.  How does that work with the free breakfast that Plat Elites are supposed to get?  Did you have to pay $19.80 ($15 + tax and tip) for Cheerios?

They also told me that they would not warm up food I bring.  Was that your experience?  Thinking of bring a hot logic and frozen meals for at least some of the time.

Except pork and alcohol.

When I went, they put a sticker on my luggage that had the food in it. When going through customs, they pulled me aside to secondary screening where the bags were x-ray, and they asked if I had pork. I'm not sure at what point the sticker was placed on the luggage. It was on the lugage when i retrived from baggage carousel.

Ive stayed at the W as a Marriott gold member. They didn't give me a problem at all with food, brought a bunch of frozen items (used polar bear and hot logic) and stored the food in the fridge in my room  (i asked them to come and take out all minibar items). Was there for a 3 nights

Are there Kosher restaurants in the Maldives? Do any Hotels offer kosher food? Which hotels accommodate or do not accommodate kosher?
