True, we are here during the second highest time of the year. IF the quotes were cheaper, we would definitely be more willing to consider other options.

Then I guess you actually got a great dillema since you scored an awesome free upgrade and because of that are questioning the paid one you planned (and now have another excuse to go to BOB although I think there the OWBs don't have private pools)!

Well the pool at the WV is smaller than the bathtub I have here

Lol! Those huge outdoor bathtubs and showers in the beach villas DO look cool. So what did you do in the end? We're you able to wrangle a cheaper OWB or did you just stay put in the Deluxe Beach villa? If you didn't upgrade, did you get to take the money and book some other cool dives like you wanted? I'm sure I'm not the only one who would love a TR since I think you're back home now.

Not at all, although I do love reading all his posts. I'm just being annoying because I have a late summer trip there to the Conrad (and most of the info here is on the PH) so I'm super curious, but thanks for your very nice way to tell me to relax!

That cooler bag that AJK and a couple of others mentioned here a little while back is sold out everywhere! PolarBear says OOS until April 2016. Did everyone here go buy them?

Caveat - don't open it up in middle, that can radically change status. Also try to keep it as solidly packed as possible.

I'm assuming that's including flying time, right? I need something that will keep my food frozen from when I land in MLE until I get to my hotel.

Yes. Used it on several trips and if you pack it right it can last quite a while.
