Personally, I would not bother, unless the mere thought of shlepping food with you makes your break out in a cold sweat.  I very much enjoy POM meals, have a great cooler, and don't really deal with it once I hand it to the airport check in agent on departure, only seeing it again upon arrival in MLE.  The one time I had Australian meals shipped, they did not compare to POM. I also venture that JW will charge you a small fortune.

No, I was very well aware and prepared for the fact that it will be necessary to schlep along food for this trip. Thus my initial question to the hotel regarding accommodation of storage and heating up the food.

I think when they respond with cost I'll just politely turn them down. I find the POM meals enjoyable too and will be glad to use them again for this trip.

I know I've seen the link to the cooler multiple times but if you don't mind can you please post it or PM to me? Sorry for being lazy  ;D. Thanks.

If I recall correctly... @chuchem got food from Australia in the Maldives

Did some searching and he did way back in 2011.  He did mention multiple times that the food was delicious and it was wonderful not having to worry about kosher food out in the boondocks.  However, I don't even know if this is the same place that he got his food from.  Perhaps if he follows this thread and can chime in I'll get my answer.

If they charge, I'm sure it's per meal.

Did you ask/tell them in advance or you just showed up with your meals and assumed they would do it because they'd already done it so many times for others previously?

Going to the st regis in 2 weeks.

I informed them that i am bringing meals and need to be frozen and heated up. They responded that it is not an issue and didn't mention anything about a fee.

Has anyone been at the hotel over shabbos?
What sensors are there on the doors, room, deck, deck door? Can they be disabled?
Can one carry on the island?
What did you do about food for shabbos day?

Any other tips for shabbos or the hotel in general?

Thanks :)

How accommodating are they about making a kosher breakfast?

When I went to the conrad the chef knew all about kosher, so he brought us a new pan, made me check the egg for blood spots, turned off the Fire for me to relight, found a bottle of shop rite Pam that a ddfer left before me and knew to serve on plastic.
