supposedly there is a Rtiz Carlton opening sometime in 2020 as well but since i dont see any real info i doubt it opens this year.
The RC will not be far from the WA, we passed by with the Jetski. In February they were still in the early stage of construction.

It's definitely str and it appears W.
I also went to the conrad 2016 and it is really nice and what I would say the best value especially since you can book right into an owb for the base rate.
Base rate does not book into owb. Books into Beach Villa

So with W being signifcantly cheaper than the str (mostly because of the transfer), Dan would you go W? Really my questions is of the resorts you have been to which did you like the most.

St regis is the best.
I think conrad is the best value.

comparison of st regis v W is 400k points v 350k (no real big deal) and $1,700 v $500 bc of the transfer. What about JW no one likes the JW?

One more kind of important question. Is October not a great time to go?

The weather is always unpredictable, but technically it's not the best time to go.
We had plenty of nice days some rain in our 5 days.

I brought frozen meals that were stored and heated up. They told me they were planning on adding a heating up fee in the future.
I also brought a burner, pot and frying pan and a pannini maker.
I only used the burner for chulent on shabbos.

For activities the only paid one  I did was scuba diving which is amazing although some areas are washed out.
When I was in the SR they gave me a microwave and a huge extra fridge to keep my food. I did keep some stuff with them but mostly I warmed up my own food. They also told me they will charge to warm up meals but they never charged at the end.

We had plenty of nice days some rain in our 5 days.

We were there late August/early September which is technically rainy season.
All days were beautiful and sunny except for arrival day, and one day there was a 15 min shower but no clouds before or after.
The nights were all crazy stormy though but I loved that part. Nothing like sleeping in an owb with the a storm raging:)
