If I make the reservation but put only one guest, and then show up with 4 people. Will they charge me at checkout for the other passengers taking the seaplane?
They charge you before you fly

Unofrtunately they do not have availability for when I am looking to go... I will keep an eye out but dor right now im down to the STR, W, JW and conrad
You can always try emailing the hotel and ask them to open up availability. It's a bit of a long shot but not unheard of.

I check almost every day for availability at the WA but cant find anything, dying to go back
When the cancellation window comes closer, more room will be available since people are freeing up their reservations (even on peak seasons).

One more kind of important question. Is October not a great time to go?
I went beginning of November and weather was great. Maybe it rained twice in the evening for an hour tops.

Maybe you can save some time, set up an alert here, choose WAI and the type of room you're looking for is "King(/Two Queen bedded) Ocean Villa with Pool", or the "King(/Two Queen Bedded) Reef Villa with Pool".

We used this. No need for ice as everything acts as ice for everything else. Solid frozen upon arrival.
