Why not?

The flights are a pain in the butt, even in business class.  I mean, we will end up going, but it would be nice to add something else for a week to the end of it.

We are going just to go to the Maldives for 6 days/5nights. Flying Qsuites and staying at the Waldorf I think it will be well worth it.

check just DOH-ord that should be available.
QR is blocking most of MLE-DOH, especially in J

Looking for opinions. Currently booked on the below itinerary.

Original plan was to go into the city during the evening for a few hours since we have an 8 hour layover. Now due to Covid that probably wont happen.

Would you change to the below to not have an 8 hour layover but get to MLE at 3pm instead of 9am?

Due to COVID they aren’t allowing any tourists to enter Doha but there is a hotel in the terminal that you can stay overnight which is before immigration that would be a good choice for a 9 hour overnight stopover. It’s called the oryx hotel

*needs to be a minimum stop of 12 hours

That is unfortunate. I am on a paid business class flight but only 8.5 hour layover.

It's been written everywhere and I wrote it on my TR. I don't think it was a secret from the first place.

It is a bit disappointing that the WA charges $50 ++ per meal to heat up. Spending around $120 per day to heat up food is a lot.
