From what I've read on the FT thread, they haven't yet released the 2022 rooms.

They can always have cancelations.

They probably will, people hog all the potential dates and then cancel later because why not!! We should open a thread to coordinate between people who hog and people who need at least on this forum😝

People could resell to each other their confirmed stay.
When people cancel their bookings it doesn't necessarily go back into award inventory, so keeping the existing one and changing the name to the buyer make more sense IMHO

could run into legal problems possibly? And then people might start hogging dates and charging more to make money! I was thinking more like a gemach 😉

y cant people just be nice and post when they want to cancel and let the other person transfer that amount of points into their account and change the name of the original booking

That's what I was thinking. Maybe I didn't phrase it well

I have seen cancelations on ft and the inventory hasn't come back. I don't get how they can not have one standard day for the next year it doesn't add up

They probably got grabbed. For an example check out availability in wa Los cabos it’s not as bad as wa Maldives but same story

Because of greedy individuals that will make 10+ reservations.

Someone flagged on FT standard rate going from 120k to 150k. Which could explain why the hotel has held back in releasing standard award night.

I"ve been checking for the last few weeks for anyhwere upto a year out, nothing.

It's very possible they will release several batches shortly, once they the 150k kicks in

While that's a possibility, I think data points are mainly that they just aren't returning to inventory from FT.  MY own datapoint, tried to coordinate a cancel/rebook with someone nice enough to try it and it did not ever, return to inventory.

I may have family unable to make a reservation June 30 to July 6th (will know in about 2 weeks).  What do you all think is fair?
