Thanks.

Looks like they don't have a good points value at the moment..

Do I need to bring along kosher food? I don't plan on stopping in LA at all during the trip. Are there kosher groceries/restaurants in or around the area?

Also the residence inn you'll only need one room as opposed to two at a different hotel

I didn't mind the walking. The kids were in the stroller so they didn't mind either.

Although I wasn't so impressed in general with the zoo. It's a nice zoo but I'm not sure why it's world renowned. No better than Bronx zoo or Toronto zoo

Looks like the Costco 4 day pass is the best deal if combined with the $15 amex credit.

The Residence Inn appears to be too costly for the dates I'm going. It starts at $219 per night. Any other suggestions?

Is the Lego Land hotel any good?

Was under construction when I was there but you wouldn't want to be based out of there. It's 45 minutes north of LA Jolla

Is LA Jolla where most of the attractions are? (excuse my ignorance, I have never been there before  :P)
