Not sure if the wiki is updated. What's the best kosher restaurant with a good hashgacha there? Both dairy and meat. Thanks
The Place and Ralph's has a deli. That's it for now unfortunately. The Grille is no longer around

Will be in San Diego for a weekend, in early February with kids. What's a good "shabbat" hotel or area to be near? Being next a shul would be great, but also looking for a place where the kids wont be holed up in a hotel room all day. Does the Sheraton La Jolla or Hyatt Regency La Jolla make sense? or a hotel like the US Grant Downtown. Thanks!

not near a shul but the park hyatt aviara is on a beautiful resort that would be nice to just walk around on shabbos.  The US Grant is in the middle of a pretty dreary area that i personally would not want to be in for shabbos

The hotels in La Jolla you mentioned might be near the Adat Yeshrun shul in la Jolla which is a beautiful area.  Get the addresses and google the distance

In downtown I believe there might be a chabad minyan for shabbat

Hi guys

I am a spoiled GHK vacationer (twice). This year i will not be able to make it down there. I am going to San Diego in a few weeks. I tried finding a hotel in the same setting as GHK (at least somewhat). I have been in San Diego a nice couple of years ago and stayed in the hilton bayfront. That is too busy/no surrounding grounds. Anyone have any recommendations for a resort preferably on the ocean
TIA

Guys can you help me out here?

1) i see that the kona kai is cheaper than the other ones. Is it because of the quality of the property?

2) The Paradise points i see has a lot of bungalow styles. It looks like the lanai bay view is the one to go with. Is that correct?

3) Does the Hyatt Aviara have rooms with views to the bay?

And finally what is my best way to get the cheapest rate if not using points.

Any advice would be appreciated...
