any good SPG hotels in S. Diego and/or La Jolla with suites? There aren't any listed in the wiki. SPG isn't showing any suites (i.e. 2 one-bedroom suites) - other than some suite upgrade options in Carlsbad, which usually works fine with plat.

looking for all-suite if possible in San Diego, similar to other Sheraton Suites in Coconut Creek and Plantation, FL, etc...

looking to spend a shabbos in July somewhere around SD are there any Hyatt or SPG Properties that are near a shul and shabbos friendly?
surprised this wasnt in wiki (added now), there is a small eruv that covers a marriot residence inn and a sheraton (la jolla). http://www.adatyeshurun.org/eruv http://www.adatyeshurun.org/sites/adat/files/EruvBoundaryMap.pdf and its walkable to the shul that runs it.

Hello All

I am traveling from Sunday to Thursday to the downtown San Diego area for work. I was looking through this thread and noticed there are not a lot of kosher options for me here, but can anyone tell me if any of the limited options will deliver to a hotel in the downtown San Diego area?

Thanks

Omni La Costa Hotel in Carlsbad is a 15 min walk to Chabad at La Costa and Chabad has a special rate with them, saved over $200 a night with the chabad rate

Nice, always useful to call the local chabad before booking hotels, have found amazing rates through them before. but they rarely provide an online booking option!

I think it was discussed here before, there's some seating in the store but that's not directly at the kosher section

Planning a trip for august, and would like to use starwood points.

i see a bunch of category 3 and 4's, was wondering where people have been and what is a good/bad value.
most of the recent talk on this thread is about food and not hotels, so was hoping for some fairly updated starwoods info.

Thanks.

i stayed at the Sheraton mission bay. I thought it was well worth the 7,000 a night. Very nice and clean with a decent pool. The location was great for me. It was right near coffee bean and not too far from shul. it is sort of in the middle of everything. Downtown and la Jolla were both not very far.

If you are around San diego for the summer, this option (dinner sunday-thursday at Beth Jacob shul) seems good so you arent stuck with just Ralph's takeout and The PLace at the JCC La Jolla.

this is the Rabbi who leads Beth Jacob where the location is, so perhaps it's either under his supervision, or he approves of the supervision. Link: http://www.bjsd.org/rabbinical_leadership
