I stayed in both Hyatt regency and Hilton mission bay, they are both nice properties Hyatt definitely has nicer grounds and much bigger pool plus better room views

the hyatt regency has a water taxi shuttle (boat) behind the hotel that takes you to seaworld.

They do?? When we were there, I asked them how to get there and they told me that I can walk (about 20 minutes) or they can call me a cab. They didn't mention anything about a water taxi

Narrowed my search to 3 hotels in Mission Bay

1. Paradise Point Mission Bay
2. Hyatt Regency Mission Bay
3. Hilton Mission Bay

Any thoughts...

If price matters go with the cheapest
Otherwise they are probably in the order you've put it, hilton being the most simple one, hyatt is certainly fresher and newer than paradise point

I'm going to be at the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay in 3 weeks, and can report back then.

What are some nice Starwood or Marriott hotels close to water activities?
Looking to use points or C+P and hope for an upgrade..
.(Room with a view for a reasonable rate would be a plus) Thanks!

I went to Sheraton San Diego Hotel and marina last summer. It has a resort fee(which they waived for me) which covers activities. They offer paddle boating(my boat was messed up. My wife and I almost fell into the water twice), kayaking and bike riding. Only annoying part is parking. If you're lucky you'll find street parking.

Is the Safari Park worth it if you're just gonna do what's included in the basic admission (1-day pass) and not do any of the add-on safaris?

Are there any real kosher restaurants in SD? Trying to plan a few things out and it seems all the places are either Cafes or take out and the Cafe closes at 7:30 during the week.
