Anyone ever Drive to Mexico ?

Anything worth seeing in Tijuana or surrounding areas?

is the Great Wall of Trump up yet?

Was told no.

Additionally it can be heavy traffic crossing the border

We went to Tijuana for Happy Hour drinks. Was cute to go to for about an hour or two. I would not drive across the boarder, it's better to walk. Park at a parking lot near the boarder and walk across. If you are going to Coronado Beach its not far from there at all.

SeaWorld isn't exactly a giraffe...

What kind of stuff are you looking to do?

I hear Shamu is really boring now with that they stopped the shows...

But seriously what are you looking for?

Water sports? Beach views?

I did not add this to the Wiki from when i went in August but my wife and I did this and it was a ton of fun! We drove our own speedboat and it was very cool. We had a tour around the whole harbor, ect. Would for sure recommend this.

For Hikes I would recommend Torrey Pines over Point Loma unless you are able to aces the beach caves at Point Loma. It all depends on the time of the year and the high/low tide conditions. We were not able to go into the caves bc it was high tide but it was a cute area. Torrey Pines was a much better hike.

I would not do the SD zoo Friday.  The zoo is huge and you need more than a few hours unless its your only option

not many kosher options.  Best bet is in La Jolla there is a restaurant in the La Jolla JCC and there is a Ralph's takeout with a big selection and you can sit down in the supermarket just bring your own disposable tablecloth so you do not accidentally eat non-kosher etc...

By the way there might be a shabbat chabad minyan downtown

What’s better the zoo Friday and rush through it.

Or Saturday night

Has anyone ever went to the zoo at night?

Was there last week,  started afternoon into night. Would definitely 10000% not go only at night. Animals are basically gone, lights at the la zoo were way more impressive. I happened to enjoy seaworld way more than the zoo. Although was my second time to that zoo this year. Also keep in mind nights in SD are very cold.

For Saturday night you might want to head to Gaslamp Quarter. Even though its filled with bars there are Ice Cream stores and its cute area at night. Earlier in the night is better for kids obviously.

For Sunday La Jolla Cove then you can head 10 minutes to Ralphs its a supermarket will full kosher take out food. Then head to Tide Pools. You dont need to go to Coranado just to see the hotel. thats my opinion.
