Any recent reviews of Hyatt Regency Mission Bay?
Want to book a suite (travelling with kids and want a seperate room). Seems like there were some recent renovations there, any tips on what room/building to look into? Thanks!
We were there about 2 years ago. Staff was very nice & helpful. A simple email to the manager got us upgraded to the penthouse & he also threw in free parking

Just the usual honeymoon/anniversary/birthday stuff. I've used this tactic in many different hotels all over the world & was successful most of the times.

Any try the SeaWorld Gold Annual passes from Costco? Was it a huge time killer waiting by guest services for the free guest pass?

(Comes with free parking and quick queue, but not worth an hour on line.)

Not sure about the Annual pass, but the 2 day Go Pass is a great deal.

Any experience/feedback on purchasing cheap  LEGO land tickets on eBay? Below is the item description of one of the listings. Should I rely on this or is it suspicious?
—————————————-——————————
“This listing is for e-tickets to Legoland California San Diego, 1-Day admission, priced at $100+ at gate. The aquarium and waterpark are not included.
1. The ticket will be sent to your email in the format of PDF in the morning of your designated date, around 8am, the Legoland opens at 9:30am.
2. I will need a full name to associate the tickets with. His/Her name will appear on the tickets, this person will need to show his or her validate photo ID (driver license or passport) to the clerk at the ticket booth in exchange for the hard tickets. Then you can use the hard paper tickets at the gate to enter.
3. The tickets can not be sent earlier.
4. You have to enter the gate before 12pm. The tickets become invalided after.
Please place an order only when you accept the above terms.
I have had many happy customers, saving lots of money and enjoyed their day at Legoland.
No shipment involved, even if you are going in two or three days or even tomorrow, you will still be able to get your discounted tickets.
I know this setting of sending tickets in the morning may seem a little unfamiliar, but don't worry, you are well protected by eBay ^-^, money back if anything goes wrong, but I don't believe there will be any.
Again, the tickets will be sent to your email address in the morning on the day you go to the Legoland.”

Took my family for a short budget friendly mid winter vacation.
We drove from la with 5 kids ranging from 1 to 15.
With great mazel, it was cold and raining the first day,  was cold the second and was finally nice the day we left.
We went to point Loma to see the light house. wasn't that exciting,  but it is a national park ($20 entrance fee per car)
Was exciting to see a submarine heading out to see accompanied by 3 boats.
We went too old town.  Cute place to walk around and see.  2 blocks away there is a small model train museum.  Suggested donation was $5 a person and $10 a family.  We all enjoyed it,  kids to adults.  Very detailed and done with humor  (hobos under the tracks,  a building on fire,  the names of the businesses...)
La jolla cove - children's pool was great.  The actual beach with the seals is closed for the winter bec the pups are born then,  but the kids enjoyed seeing them amd catching a beautiful sunset.
The last day we had to head back and since we were staying in Oceanside we decided to do something on the way back instead of driving back to San Diego.  There was a small petting zoo called zoomars in san juan Capistrano .
Cute place where you can go into the pen woth the goats and sheep and guinea pigs.  Could also feed the rabbits,  and llamas. Pony rides and train ride for ages 2-10. Also a western theme backdrop,  park,  corn kernel "ball pit" had a good deal on Groupon.
Wanted to hike in torrey pines but didn't have time due to the weather
