Man. I wish I knew about this. I davened at some ungodly hour. Although it was for the best because I was able to book the el al glitch because I was up so early
It's all hashgocha protis.
Same with the DL glitch, only the red-eye was available, got home and forced myself to stay awake to get back on a normal schedule, etc.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Anyone here have any luck getting Sea World tickets at a discount or though Craigslist?

Also, it seems like restaurants open and close in San Diego and some are only in business in the summer. Which restaurants are open now?

Anyone try the Gocar sef-guided gps tour? Looks pretty interesting http://www.gocartours.com/sandiego.html

This was one of the highlights of my West coast trip, 2 years ago.  Highly recommended! I hope to go again in a few weeks (thanks to the Delta glitch :) )

Yeah-they closed about a year ago. Restaurants don't stay around too long there (although while they are around they are usually pretty good there).

I found a guy on Craigslist that will meet me at Sea World on the morning of and make sure I get in before I pay him. He is charging $35 for an adult and $30 for a child. Now is it worth the risk in case he doesn't show up and I am stuck paying full price at the gate????

The Grille
6548 El Cajon Blvd at Rolando st.
San Diego, CA 92115
619.286.1847
Super market as well.

Ralphs have a hot & cold deli (uncooked fish meat & chicken as well. For that matter Trader Joe's which is next door more often than not has uncooked stuff as well)), prepared cold food (sushi, salads) & a huge kosher section.

I am booked into LAX (Delta glitch, thanks Dan) Thursday Jan 30-Wed Feb 5. I am spending Shabbos in Palm Springs area. For the days after that, I'm looking have a nice few relaxing days in quiet, scenic areas.

Where is the best, quietest beach-side area to go in the Southern California? I was thinking it would be better to go to San Diego (La Jolla, Coronado, Torey Pines, etc) rather than LA. Is this true? I'm looking to do "budget" (read: cheap) stuff, like walking trails, kayaking, biking.

I'll be renting a car, food isn't part of this equation.

Also, is it worth spending a day in Palm Springs area, or should I head straight to the coast?
